Perfect Image Salicylic Deep Gel Cleanser

A foaming deep Cleansing facial cleanser that uses salicylic acid (BHA acid) to exfoliate the outer dead skin cells, clearing away dirt, impurities and oil underneath the skin's surface. It is specially formulated to thoroughly cleanse and prepare the skin for a treatment with facial peeling. BHA-acid acts as an exfoliating ingredient to accelerate the removal of dead and dull skin cells from the surface and promote an increase in collagen production.

Tea Tree oil and green tea has strong antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral properties, and has been proven to be effective at combating Propionibacterium acnes, the bacterium that is directly responsible for acne.

Salicylic acid

Salicylic acid is a BHA acid and outstanding deep cleansers usually used to treat komedoakne and non-inflamed acne. Acne usually occurs due to excessive excretion of oil from sebaceous glands in conjunction with the killing of skin cells (korneocyter) blocking the hair follicle. The oil secretion builds up under the blocked pore which creates a perfect environment for Propionibacterium acnes to grow, as fatty acids are its main food. Salicylsyrans larger molecule size causes less irritation than AHA-syor (e.g. Glycolic acid, lactic acid, etc.). This allows the molecule to cling to the skin surface for an extended period of time, resulting in a more effective cleansing of the pores. Salicylic acid also destroys the bacteria under the skin surface, which helps to dissolve the blockage in the pores by exfoliation, as well as creating breathing channels for the skin.

Tea Tree Oil

is an essential oil extracted from the leaves of the Australian Melaleuca Alternifolia tree. Tea Tree Oil contains terpinen-4-ol, which is believed to be responsible for the oil's antimicrobial properties. The oil has been proven to be effective at killing the acne bacterium (Propionibacterium acnes) when applied to the skin, and is often used as a natural alternative to benzyl peroxide (found in Basiron). In a study comparing tea tree oil with benzyl peroxide, it was found that patients who applied tea tree oil to the skin experienced much fewer side effects than those that applied benzyl peroxide. People in both groups experienced a significant reduction in both inflamed and non-inflamed acne.

Green Tea

Green tea is a natural extract that contains catechins (a type of antioxidants), known as Epigallokatekin and exhibits antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Green tea helps reduce inflammation of the skin and neutralize free radicals that otherwise cause cell damage and damage to body tissue. The antibacterial properties of green tea also have the ability to kill Propionibacterium acnes, which causes acne vulgaris. An independent study by Dr. Gan-Wong showed that the results of treating acne with a cream containing 3% green tea were almost identical to those of a solution containing 4% benzyl peroxide. Green tea has no side effects compared to pharmaceutical-related products. According to another study published in the "Journal of Drugs in Dermatology", green tea is more effective when applied to the skin, and can also be used as a gentle cleanser and exfoliant on the skin.

Instructions

Use 5-7 days before a chemical peel. Distribute a one-crown large amount of the gel in your palm. Gently rub your hands against each other to emulsify the gel. Quickly apply the gel on your skin using fingertips, and massage thoroughly into the entire face. Spend some extra time rubbing the product on your problem areas, such as the forehead, nose or chin. Rinse clean face with warm water. Be careful to remove the gel completely from your face before drying dry. can also be used 2-3 times per week to maintain a youthful and vibrant complexion.
